Kung Fu Fitness
Our Kung Fu Fitness class is a fun and challenging, calorie burning, total body, high intensity workout. It’s based on both bodyweight exercises and reality based self-defense techniques that can be applied to actual self-defense scenarios. This is not your average martial arts or kickboxing inspired cardio workout, we draw techniques and applications from our core martial arts classes. There are no wasted movements, you will learn proper form and applications. This is a fun and unique class, no class is ever the same. Each class will burn about 600-800 calories. Come and get fighting fit!
Wing Chun Kung Fu
Wing Chun is a 400 year old concept-based martial art from Southern China. It’s a form of self-defense utilizing both striking and “sticking” or controlling while specializing in close-range combat.
Jeet Kune Do
In 1967 Bruce Lee developed an expression of martial arts that was personal to him called Jeet Kune Do. JKD is comprised mainly of Wing Chun, Western Boxing, grappling and principles’ of Fencing. The concept of intercepting is key to JKD, whether it be the interception of your opponent’s incoming attack or his intent. The basic guiding principles are: Simplicity, Directness and Freedom.
Arnis is the national martial art sport of Philippines. It is also known as Eskrima and Kali. The art emphasizes weapon based fighting using knives, bladed weapons, sticks and various improvised weapons. It also includes hand to hand combat, grappling and weapon disarming techniques.
